On My Walk Home

On My Walk Home is my playful interaction with environments around me. Using only pieces of colored sidewalk chalk, I created artwork from what I saw as I walked around the city streets. These new artistic compositions originated from interesting structural features, cracks in the pavement, and litter. In each drawing I used my imagination to bring these ordinary objects and mundane aspects of our world to life. All the items and environmental elements that became the subject of my images were as found; I did not alter, move, or manipulate their positioning or placement during the drawing or photographing process.
