The Imprints We Leave

Shadows shift and change as the sun rises and sets. Sunlight alters how the shadow cast appears as well, depending on what the sunlight is shining on or through. They leave an imprint on what they shine on, even if that impression is momentary. In this series some photographs have a subject or a shadow that leaves a mark on those it affects, others are representative of change. Through The Imprints We Leave I wanted to explore how to artistically portray the mundane, challenging myself to look for small details within our world. I also created this as a way to represent the subject of change differently.
